Introduction

Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd. was established in 1995 by the current management who, collectively, have over 100 years experience in industrial fabrics for filtration.
At their purpose built plant in Denbigh, North Wales, they are able to manufacture all types of filtration products for wet and dry filtration as well as mesh fabrics for sieving and separation.
Technical Fabrics are included in the Dupont quality assurance labelling system for 100% virgin Nomex® filter bags.
Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd. provide end users with service teams that specialise in filter bag and component replacement using in-house manufactured filter elements which can be:

  • sewn for specific requirements
  • thermowelded on line for a greater dimensional regularity, a better seal and no stitch hole emissions

Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd. engineers offer practical solutions to many filtration problems by working in close contact with both the end user and our own in-house specialists, in accordance with our own quality assurance criteria.


Services

  • Filter plant maintenance & services
    Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd. service engineers offer the complete "total care" package to clients performing a full site survey and providing a cost effective maintenance programme, with detailed reports relating to the performance and current condition of the filtration plant.
    Included in the site inspection is a full inventory of filter bags and other related items used on site to highlight cost savings and improve plant efficiencies. Where possible our on-site engineers will offer advice for further improvements to plant operating efficiency, reduce stock holdings and overall operating costs.
    Environmental testing and site surveys are fully documented in accordance with health and safety legislation as well as forming the basis to ensure the site meets current environmental regulations.

  • Filter bag/component changes
    Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd. have fully equipped service technicians suitably qualified to carry out filter bag and cartridge replacements working to strict site safety procedures and requirements. Method statements and risk assessments are provided for every job.

  • Plant test, inspection & reports
    Using specialised monitoring equipment our on-site engineers are able to perform the necessary tests to calculate plant performance and offer technical support in improving plant efficiency, where required, to ensure the plant complies with current safety and environmental regulations.

Products

Technical Fabrics (UK) Ltd. filter bags are made from needlefelt and fabric manufactured by our partnership companies to guarantee quality and consistency. The bags can be:

All our major suppliers are quality assured to ISO Standards, ensuring consistent quality. The wide variety of processes requiring filtration and the numerous types of filtration equipment available requires the use of a database containing both technical and marketing information which, when integrated with the various manufacturing procedures, provides a complete computerised management system of technical drawings, models and specifications.
