Industrial gas phase filtration

About our products

There is a wide range of industrial air pollution control systems that we, in cooperation with our partners, can provide. We can supply dust collectors, mist collectors, scrubbers, thermal oxidizers, ESPs, biofilters, DeNOx units, waste incinerators, bag filters, activated carbon, industrial vacuum cleaners, gas/particulate respirators, residential air purifiers, etc.
We are also an authorized representative of ProMark Associates Inc. in Romania.
ProMark Associates Inc. is a global provider of innovative indoor air purification design, equipment and services for the industrial, commercial and residential markets.

ProMark Associates Inc. has helped clients solve the following air filtration challenges:

  • Cleaning indoor air for human comfort, health and safety
  • Elimination of cigarette smoke, odour and related chemicals
  • Kitchens' exhaust odours
  • Lift station odour control
  • Control room corrosion control
  • Crane cab corrosive gases
  • Compressor air intake dirt and gases
  • Severe dust loading requiring self-cleaning particulate filters
  • Produce and flower spoilage due to ethylene gas

Media

The right media for your facility should be selected based on the contaminant gases present, concentration levels, airflow requirements, environmental concerns and room design considerations. ProMark's technical support team and wide range of media products guarantee your gas phase filtration requirements will be met.

ProGuard 100ProGuard 100 removes destructive and odourous gases from air streams. It is typically used in air filtration systems in refrigerators, laboratories, offices and homes. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard 100 adsorption and chemical reaction process are: ethylene, nitric oxide, formaldehyde and other VOCs. Contaminant molecules are small and removal by-products are typically carbon dioxide.
ProGuard 200 removes toxic, corrosive and odourous gases from air streams. It is typically used in HVAC systems at refineries, steel mills, wastewater treatment plants, hospitals, museums, commercial buildings and labs. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard 200 adsorption and chemical reaction process are: hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, nitric oxide and formaldehyde. This media has higher porosity to enable space to be found to store solid by-products of reaction. This media is low dust.
ProGuard 300 has proprietary chemistry, along with potassium permanganate, that sets a higher standard for acid gas removal capacity.

ProGuard BlendProGuard Blend combines ProGuard 200 with carbon for general odour control over the greatest range of gases. It is typically used in updating commercial HVAC systems when multiple contaminants are present and often only a single stage is available. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard Blend adsorption and chemical reaction process are: hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, nitric acid, formaldehyde, acetic acid, alcohols and VOCs like benzene, chlorine, garlic, onion, gasoline, ozone, phenol and tobacco smoke. This media is a very popular 'broad spectrum' blend.

ProGuard 400ProGuard 400 removes removes chlorine contaminants from air streams. It is routinely used in HVAC systems in chemical, drinking water and wastewater treatment and bleach plants. Contaminants removed by the ProGuard 400 adsorption and chemical reaction process are chlorine and chlorine dioxide. It is very specific.

ProGuard 600ProGuard 600 is virgin, coconut shell based, granular carbon which removes a broad range of gaseous compounds from the air. It is routinely used in HVAC systems in offices, machine shops, lounges, restaurants and commercial and industrial buildings. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard 600 adsorption process are: cigarette smoke, VOCs, acetic acid, chlorine, methyl alcohol, ozone and toluene.

ProGuard 700ProGuard 700 is a coal based carbon that removes a broad range of gaseous compounds from the air. It is routinely used in HVAC systems in offices, machine shops, bars, restaurants and industrial buildings. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard 700 adsorption process are: acetic acid, alcohols and VOCs (benzene, chlorine, garlic, onion, gasoline, ozone, phenol and tobacco smoke).

ProGuard 800ProGuard 800 is an acid impregnated carbon and removes base pH gases (8-14 pH) from the air. It removes corrosive gases and is routinely used in HVAC systems in chemical plants, blue print shops, animal labs and zoos. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard 800 absorption and chemical reaction process are ammonia (NH3) and low molecular weight amines.

ProGuard 900 is an alkali impregnated carbon and removes acid gases (1-7 pH) from the air. It is typically used in HVAC systems in refineries, paper mills, wastewater plants, steel mills and industrial buildings. It protects computers and people and removes odours. Common contaminants removed by the ProGuard 900 chemisorption process are: hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, nitric oxides, mercaptans, chlorine.

Dry-208 desiccantDry-208 desiccant replaces any alumina based desiccant media for air or liquid drying. High surface area leads to optimum dehydration and strong physical characteristics result in longer life (sizes 1/16 inches - 1 inch).

Modules

ProMark modules and panels are the mechanical frames that hold loose, dry media. They are available in metal, refillable, disposable and honeycomb styles. These modules are building blocks for air scrubber system designs. Panels are available in almost any size, any metal and disposable honeycomb. Replacement of existing modules is available - just give us the size, thickness and media required.

Refillable: PMA 12 and PMA 18Refillable: PMA 12 and PMA 18 meet industry standard sizes and exceed them with ease of use and solid construction in steel. These are available pre filled with customer specified media. Construction is standard mild steel with epoxy paint. They are also available in 304 stainless steel.
Dimensions (nominal):
PMA 12 - 12" H x 24" W x 12" D - 3" media bed depth
PMA 18 - 6" H x 24" W x 18" D - 1" media bed depth

Disposable: PMD 12 and PMD 18Disposable: PMD 12 and PMD 18 meet industry standard sizes with the added convenience of plastic disposability. Disposables come pre filled with customer specified media. The PMD12 comes as 2 half-modules per set for easier handling at the installation.
